Life Happens Here

After downsizing to be closer to family, the lovely couple who own this home wanted to refresh their nest for a more liveable existence. Seeing their plans pull together and stunning styling fall into place has been a pleasure.

The plans involved removing the add-on laundry, rotten rear wall, and opening up the previously extended dining area. The home increased in height and length, creating a much more comfortable living space to Netflix and chill in.

Building on an existing property with a tight driveway can be tricky at the best of times. Add in a full house width steel beam weighing 500kg, and things get super tricky! It’s a little sad the complicated parts of our work are covered by plaster and paint but looking back on the photos of this project, you can still feel the magic of creating beautiful spaces for our clients to reside in.

Life happens here, between the period cornice and refinished floors, in the dreamy kitchen, storage abundant laundry, and insta-worthy powder room, all the way to the under the rear alfresco.
